Paper Star Ornament

With Holidays coming up, I thought it would be fun do an ornament project with Sugarplum paper from Creative Memories.

this star also folds up to be stored 

For this project you will need 5 - 2" x 2" squares using the Sugarplum paper

2 - 1" squares of the Sugarplum paper

12" of 3/8 silk or satin ribbon

Creative Memories tape runner

1 pony bead

1 Sketch 2 different ways

I love scrapbooking, but I love card making too.

I wanted to show you how easy it is, to use a sketch for a scrapbook page, and simply also apply it to a card. 

To make the shadow effect with party hats, I punched one border using black cardstock and one using a colored cardstock. Using the CM repositional tape runner, so the tape is clear, I placed them offsetted to complete the look. I also used foam squares to add depth to the stickers.

For this project I used the Party Hat and Scallop Dot CM border maker cartridges, Cake my day paper pack and stickers, Peacock, Black and Raspberry cardstock, foam squares, Repositional tape and regular tape runner, and a Creative Memories white refill page.

This sketch can be used for any occasion or event. Also would look great using any paper pack or border maker cartridge. Would love to see what layouts you create with this sketch. Slider Card

Hello my Card making friends. I'm excited to show you that all of the tools and papers from Creative Memories, are  great for card making as well as Scrapbooking. I made this card with the Cake My Day stickers and paper pack.

Hope you enjoy the step by step video. All measurements and supplies are listed below.

Supplies you will need for this Slider card are:

• 8x7 white card stock
• 2 1/2 x 6 3/4 Raspberry Card stock
• 2 1/4 x 6 1/2 Patterned paper
• 1 1/2 x 8 white card stock
• 2 1/2 x 8 Raspberry card stock
• Approximately a 3 x 4 scrap piece of each, raspberry and white card stock.
• CM Cake my Day sticker pack
• CM Cake my Day patterned paper
• Chevron border maker cartridge
• CCS oval pattern

Scrapbook Sketch

 This is such an easy sketch I had to share.

SPRING IS HERE

For this sketch I used the Argyle Border Punch, Garden vine border Punch, and stand alone button punch. 

The papers I used are fresh picks paper pack. (which is in the going gone section and won't last long.)

and Eggplant cardstock.

Spring Border - made with the Argyle and Garden Vine Border punch

I felt I needed a little spring in this cold weather so created this border with the new Argyle and Garden vine punch, and Fresh picks Embellishments by Creative Memories. Was so easy to make.
